Minecraft server resource pack wont download

Kept the MC launcher running so I could read console output and found this. This also allows download via browser, but still will not download via the Minecraft client. If it's still not working, you have another thing to try: click edit on the server, and where it says "server resource pack" or whatever, click it until it says "prompt". Then when it prompts you, click yes, and don't start clicking around, just stay on the screen and let it load.

If that doesn't work, try downloading a different resource pack and see if you get the same issue. If nothing prevails, I would just assume something is wrong with your client.
